Konner Johnson

Konner Johnson is a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist based out of Northeast Minneapolis. Since graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2013 with a Bachelor of Music Degree he has collaborated in several active music projects including Products Band, Cha Cha 9 and Sandpaper. 

In his time in college he studied many areas of music and performance including theory, composition, audio engineering, music history, as well as playing percussion in wind ensemble for several semesters. During his studies in school, he played drums in several bands based out of the Moorhead-Fargo area and spent many hours on the stage honing his craft and love for performance. For the later half of pursuing his bachelor degree, he was involved with the High Plains Reader, a regional press based out of Fargo, ND  as a contributing staff music writer.

After graduating from MSUM, he first got involved in the Twin Cities scene by playing drums in Frankie Teardrop which then subsequently ignited a profound passion for DIY music and arts. In the last decade, he has since been keeping busy playing shows, recording, touring and collaborating with many musicians and friends.

Jeremy Harvey

Jeremy Harvey is an active percussionist in the Twin Cities. As a graduate of McNally Smith College of Music with a BA in Music Business and a minor in Percussion Performance, Jeremy has worked with many artists in the studio and on stage. Playing drums for alternative rock band Cloud Cult, Jeremy has toured the US and abroad playing clubs and theaters for sold-out audiences since 2014. Jeremy has performed with Cloud Cult and the Minnesota Orchestra, streaming live on The Current and TPT, and winning a Midwest Regional Emmy in 2022. Aside from performance, Jeremy has a passion for teaching percussion to students of all ages. Working as an educator since 2004, Jeremy has experience teaching private lessons, drumline instruction, and large group clinics. Jeremy is excited to be a part of the SJMS team and looks forward to working with you!
