Early Childhood Music Class Teachers
Aric is the founder of the Kindie Rock band “The Royal Order of Chords and Keys.” R.O.C.K., originally based out of Northampton, MA, performed at the Kindiefest Family Music Conference in 2010 (Brooklyn, NY) and at Ann Arbor Summer Fest in 2012. In 2011, Aric received the New England Public Radio WFCR Arts and Humanities Award for Emerging Talent for his commitment to the community as a performer and educator in Western Massachusetts.
Originally from St. Cloud, MN, Aric attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Songwriting in 2002. Upon receiving his degree, Aric built a career as an early childhood music educator in New York City, Western Massachusetts and the Twin Cities. Aric will be implementing his unique, original brand of early childhood music programming at Sarah Jane’s Music School and has been known to create songs and design curriculum based upon the interests of the children and families who attend class. Aric currently resides in St. Louis Park, where he enjoys his favorite job - being a Dad.
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Ariel has many years of experience working with children. While in Wisconsin, Ariel worked as an in-home children's autism service provider for five years. Upon moving to Minneapolis, she taught in an Early Education program in the suburbs where she specialized in leading music classes.
Ariel has many years of experience as a nanny and still spends some of her time nannying in Northeast. Ariel is on faculty for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Solo Voice Camp where she has taught for five years. Ariel also conducts the Roseville Lutheran Youth Choir and the Northside Singers Choir in Minneapolis. In her classes, Ariel focuses on fun between parents and their children, while learning basic music knowledge and instilling a love of music.
