Fundamentals in Jazz Theory, Improvisational Creativity, & Beginner Ear Training
A 5-day course engaging students with the core knowledge of ‘America’s Classical music’, debunking the premise that jazz proficiency is ‘inaccessible’ or ‘too confusing’. Learn a wide variety of techniques and exercises to build confidence in improvisation or arranging for solo or ensembles. The course is part listening, appreciation, dissection and execution. Knowledge in a primary instrument is advised to join this course.
